"About Me"

With over 15 years of experience in studying ion channels and receptors, I delve into the molecular foundations that shape our senses. In 2018, I transitioned to an independent artist role while managing a sustainable fashion shop in Brussels, where I have produced a variety of artwork, audio pieces, 3D-printed jewelry, and clothing, recently showcased in European stores and galleries. My work explores the intersection of science, art, design, and philosophical ideas through visuals, sound sculpting, 3D printed, and garments. I combine scientific literature and artistic imagery with custom sounds or music for each piece, resulting in abstract paintings that integrate all my interests. These creations inspire 3-printed sculptures resembling molecular structures, which can be transformed into wearable jewelry. Over the past five years, I've collaborated with designer Bojana Draca, head of Farrah Floyd, an eco-futuristic fashion brand that emphasizes aesthetics, sustainability, high-quality materials, and emotional design to address various sustainable strategies. Our work encompasses themes such as women's empowerment, ideas, and scientific concepts, creating digital prints for her designs inspired by my artwork. Notably, we craft clothing and jewelry that resonate with the club culture audience, leveraging my biology background to communicate complex science concepts related to psychedelic research, sparking conversations that might not otherwise occur. Our ultimate aim is to enhance people's experiences in clubs and their everyday lives.
